Fell for the charm of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, a cowshed-turned-cozy village. And oh, the magical firework displays! Méribel-Mottaret's DC AREA 43 let me show off with my best tricks. Loved refining my skills in the snow parks, while having heaps of fun. Fallen under their spell!
Ugh, hated everything. Not.

The location provided a perfect base for exploring the surrounding ski resorts and enjoying a variety of activities. From cross-country skiing and snowshoe treks to snowmobile rides and dog-sledding, there was something for everyone in the family. We especially loved the access to Les 3 Vallées, where we were able to discover new board sports and spend quality time together on the slopes. Moreover, the resort villages of Espace Diamant offered a picturesque setting with ski lifts and shuttle buses connecting the six villages. The abundance of green and blue pistes made it easy for the kids to experience the joy of skiing, while the outstanding gastronomic venues added a touch of culinary delight to our family holiday. Chez Michel provided the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.
For dads, it would be great to have a designated area for family-friendly activities within the hotel premises.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming mountain retreat. The hosts, Michel and Isabelle, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The traditional chalet had a cozy and clean ambiance, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The location was ideal, with easy access to skiing and breathtaking views of the mountains from my room's balcony. The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the comfortable beds to the drying racks for ski gear by the log burning fire. The breakfast provided in the vaulted kitchen was a delightful start to each day.
All was perfect during my stay at this hotel.

The rooms are quite spacious, and the breakfast was tasty. The hotel is conveniently located near the main road, and the staff was helpful with our questions.
Our romantic escape was ruined by the uncomfortable bed. It was hard as a rock and made for a very rough night's sleep.

I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel located up in the mountains. The staff were really friendly and helped me with everything I needed. The place was very clean and had excellent facilities, including a fully equipped kitchen and a separate garage for bikes. The breakfast was delicious and there were options for all tastes. The location was very quiet and peaceful, away from the main road, and provided stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Nothing to complain about at all.

Stayed here during Easter and the rooms were very well heated. The breakfast was great and a good way to start the day. The owner was a great help in advising us on the local area and finding the best ski hills. The local area is in a great location and close to some fantastic ski hills. One standout feature was the opportunity to prepare our meals.
Although the location was great, finding nearby restaurants was difficult. We had to rely on going for a drive to get to some good places to eat.

Nested in a picturesque alpine village, this cozy B&B is a hidden gem for anyone looking for a genuine mountain experience. The quiet location and breathtaking mountain views make it the perfect escape from big-name resorts. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with warm wooden floors and a shared living room and kitchen. The hospitable hosts serve a delicious breakfast in their vaulted kitchen, and offer useful tips for skiing and dining in the area. Guests can also enjoy the shared balcony and common area, which add to the charm of this traditional mountain house.
The limited parking space could be a minor inconvenience during peak season.

I had a fantastic stay at Chez Michel Bed & Breakfast in a traditional hamlet near the ski resorts. The Family Room was perfect for my family, with a spacious double room and a separate room with two single beds for the kids. We also had access to a sitting room with a balcony offering stunning mountain views. The host, Michel, was incredibly helpful and even provided us with ingredients to cook dinner when the local restaurant was closed. The small kitchen and the use of a washing machine for our bike clothes were additional conveniences that made our stay even more enjoyable. it was a special experience staying in a real Savoie hamlet, and I highly recommend Chez Michel Bed & Breakfast for families visiting the area.
